Project Bookmark Canada is supported by a wonderful board of directors and recently that board has expanded and evolved to include new people and new perspectives. We're really excited about this expansion and about what each member brings to our charity. We invite you to learn about each of our eleven board members and how they are contributing to build our national literary trail.
Recently, two of our board members received some significant CanLit fanfare, and we’d like to blow our horn for them as well.
Anna Ling Kaye of Vancouver, BC -- writer, editor, organizer and current VP of Project Bookmark Canada – was recently named by the industry magazine Quill & Quire as one of seven women who are “imprinting change” and encouraging diversity in the world of Canadian publishing.
And one of our newest board members, playwright and writer Megan Gail Coles of St. John’s, NL, was just shortlisted for the prestigious BMO Winterset Award for her book of short fiction, Eating Habits of the Chronically Lonesome.
Congratulations to Anna and Megan, and thanks to all of our board members for lending your prodigious talent and passion to Project Bookmark Canada.
