Tomorrow it's April, and though sun and green grass cannot be guaranteed in much of the country, it's still a time of new beginnings. April 1st, we kick off our second annual Page Turner campaign. It's your chance to spend a little and give a lot, by helping us to build a new Canadian legacy: a literary trail of our sites and stories, so that we can all read our way across the country.

Last year, thanks to 30 fantastic Champions (like Margaret Atwood, Joseph Boyden, John K. Samson and Shelagh Rogers) who broadcast the Bookmark vision through their own social media, Canadian readers donated nearly $10,000 during our Page Turner campaign. Those funds were crucial in moving several initiatives forward. Even more importantly, our Page Turners spread the word about Project Bookmark Canada, which has resulted in vital new funding from foundations, and partnerships with libraries and schools.

Over the next 30 days, watch this space to discover this year's Champions and their reasons to help build the Bookmark network. Then join in: donate, discuss and help us Turn the Page for Project Bookmark Canada.
