Ben Carr just finished his third year in the Knowledge Integration program. This summer he was working with an organization called SEEKHO in India. They were developing a new program which identifies change makers in rural indian villages, trains them to map and mobilize the resources in their community, supports them through peer learning and mentorship, and connects them to an ecosystem of partner service providers. He will be back in Waterloo in the fall to complete his final year with KI.
Tiffany Lin will be completing her final year in Knowledge Integration in the fall. Her interests often span a variety of topics and disciplines but she often finds they converge around design, technology, art, media and communication, social justice, and society. Chelsea Mills studied a wide range of topics while completing her degree in Knowledge Integration including mathematics, design, and organizational creativity. She now works at a strategy studio in Kitchener, where she uses design thinking methodology to overcome organizational problems.
Jesse Sharpe: determined creator. Insatiable curiosity. Focusing his education on design thinking and entrepreneurship, Jesse loves to work on collaborative design teams moving ideas into reality. He lives by Henry Ford’s words, “Whether you think you can, or whether you think you can’t, you’re right!”
Lauren Stephenson is a fourth year student in the Bachelor of Knowledge Integration program at the University of Waterloo. She enjoys collaborative problem solving and community organizing.
